I have attached a couple of photos of the car from the original ad 5 years ago. What sparked my interest on this car is the roll bar mounts and what appears to be a hole in the scuttle that was covered with bondo. Barney Gaylord thinks it could have been used for a marker light like you see the Seabring cars have on their roof. Someone else thought it might be for a fresh air vent.. plus I would like to know the history of the car just because it is interesting.. These photos show the car in its "restored" non race trim, complete with redshag door panels. The 1991 registration I have shows Albert Zucha of Deer Park, TX buying from James Brinkley also from Deer Park...sale price was $250!! The title was signed over by a Tripp Brinkley as POA, assume it belonged to his father. I have spoken to the Zucha family, to Albert's son, and all he can remember is he and his father bought it to fix up and never did, and it was eventually parked behind their house. I have not been able to find a Brinkley to talk to.
The Mystery MGA Coupe
Here is part of an email from a Michigan MG'er with an interesting problem. Can you help identify this former Texas MGA?
