Admit It

For some of you, this kind of advertising turned your head toward the M.G. Aren’t you glad? Maybe it was the “109 mph” part.  mgb.mother

One Response to Admit It

Nope it was Ken Purdy’s book ‘Kings of the Road” that got me started to be an MG fan in about 1950 maybe, that and a magazine named “Road and Track” which came out in 1947. In fact I was almost anti MGB, thought it a downgrade from the MGA what with it’s wind up windows (side curtains on REAL sports cars) and the fact that it was heavier and more blunt in the front end. I did covet the larger motor though for my 1500 MGA.
