Guy Fawkes Day

  • Saturday, November 5, 2016  6:00 PM

This is a uniquely English event that is being coordinated by the Texas Triumph Register.

    The Black Labrador–Churchill Room

4100 Montrose Blvd #8, Houston, TX (map)

Guy Fawkes Day is a traditional English celebration of the foiling of the infamous Gunpowder Plot, when Guy Fawkes and other conspirators came within hours of successfully blowing up the House of Lords with King James in attendance. (Don’t get any ideas folks).
It seems only well and proper to celebrate this at The Black Labrador, starting at 6:00. They will set aside some parking out front for those who dare to drive their LBCs.  There is a parking garage behind.
We’ll gather in the Churchill Room for dinner and drinks of traditional pub fare.
Please RSVP as soon as possible as soon as possible, so we can plan accordingly.

I remember us having a Guy Fawkes Day rally in November, 1972 or 1973 Ithink. Roger Bierbaum was the Rallymaster.
