1952 MG TD

Short version:

  • A car in #1 condition.
  • Winner of the Silver award at the MG Keels & Wheels in 2024.
  • I purchased the car in 2021 (see attached "Bertie" story). It has undergone a 100% nut and bolt restoration, including full replacement of floor boards, total engine, trans and rear end rebuilds, rebuild of the brake system, 100% new wiring, dash, leather interior, carpet, and paint. The car has been driven only shakedown miles since then and is 100% as per the photos.
  • I have documentation for all that was done and the total I SPENT was $58,000. The prior owner, who owned it for 30+ years had receipts for another $100,000. I do not believe there is a finer TD anywhere. David Griffin, I believe locally known as an expert in MG's, did the restoration work and a local paint shop did the paint. I would like to get $38 k for the car, but am open to offers and in some instances, trades.

The car is located at my warehouse here in Houston, Guessner/Clay road area.

The vehicle needs NOTHING. On the rebuild it was fitted with a cut off switch and wiring for a trickle charge charger hookup.

Many photos and details of the car are on my web site (Phoenix Restorations.us)

1960 MGA

This 1960 MG MGA 1600 roadster reportedly underwent a refurbishment beginning in 2008. It’s powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in white over red upholstery. Additional equipment includes a two- barrel Weber downdraft carburetor, chrome bumpers, 15″ wire wheels secured by two-eared knock-offs, front disc brakes, a banjo-style steering wheel, and heater. Black soft top & tonneau cover with removable side curtains and dual side mirrors. Only 18K indicated miles on the odometer (actual miles unknown). The reproduction identification plate lists a car number of GHNL73999, which matches the VIN.

I purchased vehicle in September 2023 and have done maintenance and upgrades to MGA totaling to about 10k. Can provide service invoices.
