On 10 November 2018, the Houston MG Car Club (HMGCC) will visit the Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base.  

Our plan/schedule is:

- 09:00 am breakfast at the Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar, 18840 Gulf Fwy, Friendswood, TX  77546.

- after breakfast, about 10:00 am or later, drive the short distance to the Museum.

Directions:

- Whiskey Cake is at the North end of Baybrook Mall.  Traveling South on the Gulf Fwy (I-45) get off at Exit 28 for El Dorado Blvd. and continue South on the Fwy access road.  Exit the access road to the right at the first or second sign for Baybrook Mall to reach the Whiskey Cake.  It is near the Fwy and in the SE corner of this part of mall parking lot.  Other landmarks near the restaurant are Container Store, REI, Total Wine, Dick's Sporting Goods which are easily seen from the fwy access road.  

- Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base is located at corner of Old Galveston Rd/TX hwy 3 and Dixie Farm Rd/ FM 1959.  Look for the white museum building off to the left as you enter the base.
