The Rice Village Wandering #4 - Back By Popular Demand
September will soon be upon us and the skies ‘look clear’, bright and sunny.
Bring your classic British Sports Car – MG or otherwise (Mike W.) – for a tour of Rice Village and a taste of Ireland.
We will ‘meet up again’ for the fourth year (and still running) at 11:00 AM Saturday September 8th at Gorgeous Gael, 5555 Morningside Dr. and sample some classic Irish pub offerings. After lunch of Fish and Chips, Bangers or for the less hardy, a Burger; you could stay for the football game (or come early for a ‘proper football match’) that should start around 1 PM. Or you can join the ‘Marching Tour’ and wander Rice Village. We plan to visit the British Isles gift shop, Savory Spice (a neat place), and whatever else catches our attention
Parking for MGs will be available in front of the Pub, with more parking in the garage, just a short walk away. We will be leaving the Pub about 1 for those ready for the wandering!!
