Some of our long time members may remember our recently departed British born member and friend, Derek Scovell.

Derek was highly loved by fellow club members, friends, and family. Derek had a passion for all things British transportation. Pursuing his passion for the finest examples of British Cars, Trucks, Buses, Trolley's and Race Cars, his collection is quite a treasure trove of models and memorabilia.  Examples:

In his honor, his lovely wife Hilary is graciously opening Derek's Legacy Collection exclusively to fellow HMGCC members. Hilary really feels that only someone who shares Derek's passion for Little British Cars could be worthy of his collection.   Hilary's only request is that YOU simply make a worthwhile donation to the Houston Food Bank charity. 

It is truly a great privilege that Hilary is allowing HMGCC members to have exclusive access to Derek's collection where the items will continue to be loved and admired by their new owner.

Time: July 3rd, around 1:30pm after the July Monthly Meeting held at Harris County Smokehouse. 

The idea is to caravan after the meeting from the Harris County Smokehouse to Hilary's home where she will share Derek's collection to our club members.
