Rich Colwell is going to attempt to change out his MGA differential gear cluster with a pinion and gear set with a 3.9:1 ratio.  While the installed gear set (4.3:1) is working well, Rich has not been know for leaving well enough alone.  He will attempt to use the new case (with preloaded pinion), and its mating crown gear, but discard the new units 10 spline half-axle gears; removing and installing the 25/26 spline gears from his existing diff., replacing oil seals, shims, gaskets, as needed.

Rich will have the car on the lift, and will work from below.  Any one in the club interested in watching this disassembly/assembly is welcome to come, watch, heckle, or assist.
