100 Miles Celebrating a 100 Years of MG
UPDATE: The Details Are done and dusted!
Please note the starting point has changed to the Buc-ee's in Waller.
Our cars were meant to be driven - and they are at their best on curvy country roads. That's what we have planned for this 100 mile drive commemorating the 100 years of MG. We have picked out some of the most scenic, winding, curvy roads in the area! We will begin at the Buc-ee's at the FM-362 exit from State Highway 290 in Waller - Pulling out at 9:45am. From there we will travel almost exclusively on 2-lane blacktop roads winding our way to Navasota, Anderson, Whitehall, and back to Buc-ee's. This route is filled with wonderful views and great roads with plenty of curves and elevation changes. Along the way, we will stop at Yankee Tavern and Grill, near Gibbons Creek, for lunch. We will make other stops to stretch our legs and get fuel.
After the drive, past club member Dave Griffith has invited participants to his property in Waller (about 7-8 minutes from the Buc-ee's) to relax, visit and have a beer or other refreshment.
This will be a great time and an opportunity to get to know some club members better.
Thank you to Rob Ficalora for planning this wonderful drive!!
