Tech Session

UPDATE:  Location is  522 Isaacks Rd, Humble, TX 77338.  It sits between the fire station and KSBJ radio station.

Do not miss this opportunity to learn many apspects of MGA's and general engine operation. This will be an opportunity to get your hands dirty and channel your inner grease monkey. 

This will be a hands on session, showing troubleshooting of an engine problem, starting with basics:  Is there compression, is there spark, is there fuel.  If compression we will attempt a borescope inspection of the cylinders, a review of valve clearance, blow-by, etc.

We will look at spark, and determine why how, and quality of spark.

Fuel systems will verify only if fuel is getting to the carbs.

On a second car we will be pulling the engine, so we will take volunteer's and show how to do it, starting with removal of externals., through pulling the engine/trans through the engine bay.

Since this will be volunteer, and participation, folks are welcome to bring their own tools (7/16", 1/2", 9/16" wrenches.
