Hosted by Glenn Carpenter
The June 28th Quarterly Breakfast at 8 am will be in the Mesquite Room at Eats Mesquite Grill.
13918 Hempstead Rd, Houston, TX 77040
While we are eating breakfast discussions will take place on the subtle characteristics and differences of the MG PA, MG PB, MG TA, MG TB, and the MG TC.
The PA, though TB, were prewar cars hand-made in small garages with unlimited options. Probably the most famous garage was Salmon & Sons Tickford, a non MG owned garage, producing TA and TB versions. For the TB, only 359 cars were produced before shutting down for war production, with only 57 Tickfords being built.
The TC, on the other hand, is a postwar car using assembly line construction with limited options offered, usually only by dealerships.
After breakfast example cars will be in the parking lot where the main differences can be viewed.
All MGs are welcome, and other discussions will be permitted.
